Who we are
At Journey to Change, we believe real change starts with showing up: messy, hopeful, uncertain, or ready. Our work is rooted in the understanding that healing and growth aren’t linear, and neither are the lives we lead. We’ve created a space that honors the complexity of being human and welcomes the full spectrum of who you are.
Founded by Jessica Chastain Tewell, LCSW, Journey to Change grew from a deep commitment to accessible, affirming, and relationship-centered care. Jessica brings two decades of experience in healthcare, leadership, and clinical practice. Just as importantly, she holds a strong belief in people’s capacity for resilience, transformation, and connection.
Whether we’re offering therapy, supervision, coaching, or consulting, our goal is the same: to walk alongside people and organizations with compassion, clarity, and purpose. We take an integrative, person-centered approach that embraces each client’s unique story and strengths.
As we grow, so does our vision to be part of a wider movement that centers well-being, equity, and belonging. We know that when individuals thrive, communities grow stronger.
At Journey to Change, you're not just supported. You're seen. We’re here for the journey, every step of the way.
What we stand for
At Journey to Change, we believe healing starts with real relationships and honest conversations. We show up with support that feels human and grounded, with a deep understanding that personal growth is also shaped by the systems and communities we’re part of.
Here’s what matters to us:
Dignity and Respect
You deserve to be met with kindness, not judgment. We honor your story, your identity, and your pace.Integrity
We show up with honesty. Our care is rooted in real-world experience, sound clinical training, and a commitment to doing what’s right.Collaboration
You’re the expert on your life. We’ll work together to find what works best for you, not force a one-size-fits-all solution.Accessibility and Inclusion
We welcome people from all walks of life. That means creating a space that feels safe and affirming for LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent clients, and anyone who’s been marginalized or misunderstood.Hope and Possibility
Even when things feel heavy, we hold on to hope. We believe growth is possible and that small steps can lead to real change.Community and Collective Care
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We believe in care that extends beyond the therapy room; care that supports collective well-being, challenges unjust systems, and helps people reconnect with one another in meaningful, sustainable ways.
